1. Dua at the approach of Ramadhan
اَللّٰهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِيْ لِرَمَضَانَ ، وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِيْ ، وَسَلِّمْهُ لِيْ مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allaahumma sallimnee liramadhaana wa sallim ramdhaana lee wa sallimhu lee mutaqabbalaa
O Allah! Safeguard me for the month of Ramadhan and safeguard the month of Ramadhan for me and accept it from me.
2. Dua when breaking fast
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ ، وَعَلٰى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
Allaahumma laka swumtu wa ‘ala rizqika aftwartu
O Allah! For You I have fasted and upon Your provision, I have broken my fast.
3. Dua after Iftar
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ ، وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ
Dhahabaz zhama-u wabb tallatil ‘urooq wa thabatal ajru in shaa Allaah
Thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is certain if Allah wills.
4. Dua during Laylatul Qadr
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيْمٌ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ ، فَاعْفُ عَنِّيْ
Allaahumma innaka Afuwwun kareemun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘annee
O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning and Generous. You love to pardon, so pardon me.
5. Alternative Duaas for Iftar
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ أَعَانَنِيْ فَصُمْتُ ، وَرَزَقَنِيْ فَأَفْطَرْتُ
Alhamdulillaahu a’aananee faswumtu warazaqanee fa-aftwartu
All praise is due to Allah who assisted me so I fasted and who provided for me so I could complete my fast.
اَللّٰهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْنَا ، وَعَلٰى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْنَا ، فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ
Allaahumma laka swumnaa wa ‘ala rizqika aftwarnaa fataqabbal minnaa innaka intas samee’ul ‘aleem
O Allah! For You we have fasted and upon Your provision, we have broken our fast. So accept from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَسْأَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِيْ وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِيْ
Allaahumma inner as-aluka birahmatikal latee wasi’at kulla shay-in an taghfira lee
O Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which envelops all things, that You forgive me.
يَا وَاسِعَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ ، اِغْفِرْ لِيْ
Yaa waasi’al maghfirah ighfir lee
O the One of abundant forgiveness! Forgive me.
