Who We Are!

To address the crucial needs that surround the Islamic education of our next generation, An-Noor Cultural Center was founded by Mufti Mohammed Ismail under the patronage of Mufti Muhammad Abdullah, who studied under the former principal of Darul Uloom Deoband, Mawlana Qari Muhammad Tayyib Sahib. Let us also not forget the efforts and sacrifices exhausted by Mufti Abdullah’s family. May Allah (ï·») accept their support and reward them in this world and the hereafter, Ameen!

The journey of An-Noor started with its cooperation approval on July 13th, 2012, as an independent, not-for-profit, cultural and educational institution. An-Noor initiated its services to the community on December 01, 2012. At that time An Noor only had a handful of students. After one decade, Alhamdulillah, there are now over 20 full-time Hifz students, about 10 Aalim course students, and over 100 weekend students, while our after-school, online, and adult programs have surpassed 150 students.

Our Vision:
The vision of An-Noor Cultural Center is to develop the youth of today into leaders, model scholars, and dedicated workers of Deen. Through our programs, An-Noor aims to produce scholars who will join the ranks of the next generation of professional Ulama and Huffaz, who make a positive impact on their community.

Our Mission:
We at An-Noor hope to create a better future; a society made up of a diverse, but united Ummah of global citizens who are guided and grounded by the teachings of our Deen, InshaAllah.
